What are clouds

The Nerval Theater – Castiglioncello (LI) – featuring a permanent Workshop of players with disabilities, is cross-fertilized with the talent of Opera’s Vincenzo Schino e Marta Bichisao.
‘What are clouds?’ is a retelling of Shakespeare’s Othello, staged in modest people’s theater, with a cast of individuals who stand up to life with poetic simplicity. Their zestful humor doesn’t cave even before life’s cruelest moments. Pier Paolo Pasolini’s short of 1967 inspires our query into society and the individual, set against a contemporary backdrop of feisty low-lifers devoid of ethics and a sense of belonging. Out of it comes a tableau bristling with contradictions, a journey through a dream set inside a dream, a search for humanity lost.
‘What are clouds?’ débuted at the ‘Inequilibrio’ Festival in 2012.
